HistoryThe Young Business Council was founded in September, 2003 by 11 board members and Floyd Takeuchi of PacificBasin Communications.The purpose of the organization is to provide a networking and professional development organization for young professionals working in all industries. Our MissionThe Young Business Council (YBC) is a Hawaii-based, non-profit, professional development organization consisting of young professionals working to learn and promote successful business practices and strategy, as well as providing venues for the discussion of current business and community topics. The YBC helps prepare young professionals by enhancing their development of project management, communication, and leadership skills as well as providing networking opportunities across many industries through the planning, promotion and execution of various events throughout the year. |

The cost is $60 for a year membership (effective till December 2012).
With the days going by so quickly, we all need more time. How about an extra day? And we all get one in 2012, thanks to Leap Year! So celebrate with us on Wednesday, February 29 at our Pool Party Networking and Membership Meeting. The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. that evening on the pool deck of the Waikiki Parc Hotel at 2233 Helumoa Road (across Halekulani).
We’ve will have drink specials, heavy pupus….AND a Leap Year special for our members who pre-pay…a free drink on us when you arrive.
Prices are a calendar-appropriate $29 for members, and $40 for non-members.. At the door, $6 extra.
