Join the Young Business Council as it helps raise awareness about Hunger in Hawaii and to assist in the collection and sorting of canned food as well as collection of $$$ to support the Hawaii Foodbank.
WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 11:30 – 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Waiokeola Church in Kahala
The Annual Food Drive is the Hawaii Foodbank’s largest fundraiser for both canned goods and monetary donations. The Hawaii Foodbank aims to ensure that no one goes hungry. Each year, more than 183,000 needy island families, children, seniors, men and women use the Hawaii Foodbank safety net of 250 member agencies each week.
YBC has been an eight year supporter of the Hawaii Foodbank and its Annual Food Drive. 2012 Leadership Series with Anton Krucky
Anton C. Krucky, Co-Founder, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Krucky co-founded Tissue Genesis Inc., in 2001. Mr. Krucky has decades of management experience that include product development, marketing, and sales for IBM. Prior to leaving IBM, he served as General Manager of Pacific Operations. He is a director at Servco Pacific, Inc., a privately held company and advisor board member for Oceanic Time Warner Cable and Farmers Insurance Hawaii. In addition he is a director for numerous community organizations including the Cancer Research Center at the University of Hawaii.
